WISH I GRIEVED EARLIER

Losing someone close can come as a shock and then lead to years of depression, the pain is indescribable but ignoring it isn't the key. Grieving and accepting the absence of that loved one is the actual way to move on. Two years back I lost my mom to cancer and being Keerat Kaur, I took the entire thing as a challenge and got onto taking up new roles and responsibilities, I didn't cry let alone the whole grieving and mourning phase. I got very cheerful and optimistic friends. most them are like birds always ready to fly high up in the boundless blue sky but yesterday something weird happened. one of my close buddies was a bit off colored , on asking her the reason I got a reply that, "yrr I just got my periods I don't even have a sanitary napkin will you please arrange one for me. What will happen if I will get a stain and what if someone get to see it?",for a second I was out of senses. The only thing going in my mind was why do we hide our periods when they form an important part of our biological system. India is a secular and diversified nation, guess that is the reason why every movement is categorized on the basis of community rather than considering it a national cause.
